Below is the pertinent paragraph from the article in 'Politico', with a link for the entire article. I don't see how all of that can take place by the afternoon or evening of Jan 20th, unless trump* et al vacate early.

Just look at the Rose Garden for starters?

(27,834 posts)And, I was thinking about the Rose Garden. Really, all they need to do is plant some bright rose bushes and other colorful perennials, interspersed with what ever that bland looking foliage is that the gold digger had planted. And re-add some Cherry and (I'd suggest) flowering plum trees.

(13,640 posts)move in immediately. A few days of good airing out should occur, given the high number of people sick with Covid who lived and worked there. To say nothing of the moral stench.

(27,834 posts)And, hopefully they are doing the same thing at Number One Observatory Circle. I doubt it has had the same degree of Covid related traffic as the White House, but I would leave NOTHING to chance.
Hopefully both residences are also being swept for listening devices.

(59,106 posts)Make sure every last particle left by that fucking piece of shit is disinfected, aired out, and wiped clean. To say that tRump has soiled the White House is a gross understatement.
Im for a good cleaning, but the first 100 days are critical. Joe needs the setting of the Oval Office to show he means business (I get it that he can exercise his authority anywhere, but the WH does command extra power).
