I really like Rick, but the part of his book that I hate is the contempt he has for "liberals" who want to regulate guns. He says we just need to accept how much Americans love guns and give up.

No Rick. For many many reasons, no.

Before children slaughtered in Connecticut, I think Gore and Dean thought we should concentrate more on gay rights and women’s rights (protecting abortion) rather than guns.
But, my memory could be faulty.

So how can anyone feel safer with firearms around? I don't and stats indicate kids die at astounding rates as a result of a this form of "self-protection".
