While it is important to discover how different groups react to different medications and protocols (age and gender and race all play a part) there is also a long history of lack of access for the Black community, and an even more sordid past history of using human beings as guinea pigs. The Tuskegee experiments get mentioned, but there were other outrages.

I don’t know or care about the Trumpers’ feelings, except as it affects public health, but the Black community has a reservoir of distrust that has to be overcome.

A PoC working on a vaccine is great buts its the government of a OPENLY ... and OVERTLY racist and hate filled towards non whites that's an issue among people I know.

Also its trusting a rushed out vaccine that, per CDC, is using technology that has never been licensed in the US before LINK and never broadly used in humans before vs doing the minimum NPI that has been successful around the world in controlling virus spread in countries that have a 10th of America's resources.

Because of TRUMP (not lack of vaccine) the US is being ripped by CV19 while other countries are walking around without masks or a 123412 round of stimulus.

Only 37% of ALL Americans are comfortable to be the first to get the vaccine so its not just black folk who are reticent.
