He's the destruction and the savior all rolled into one crazy banana peel.

He doesn’t want to give up the power and protection the presidency gives. He could care less about any lives (except for his own), as evidenced by nis actions the last 4 years and the crap he’s been pulling since he lost the election.
Add to this; even though he tried to erase Obama’s legacy, he can’t erase the fact that Obama is a 2 term president and he isn’t.

These executions were a conscious choice. Barr, presumably with Trump’s approval, ordered them. They didn’t have to. This isn’t some required duty they had no choice but to carry out. They made executing people a priority. They made it their legacy. They’re proud of it.

A way of rationalizing your negative behaviors by attributing them to others. It’s an internal voice saying “it’s ok to do XYZ because everyone else is doing it”.

It’s what allows malignant narcissists to have no shame...they’ve wrapped themselves in the fantasy that they’re actually normal.

We do not see things as they are...we see things s we are. (Anais Nin).

Fri Dec 11, 2020, 10:43 AM
Dec 2020

On February 7, 1968, American bombs, rockets and napalm obliterated much of the South Vietnamese town of Ben Tre — killing hundreds of civilians who lived there.

Later that day, an unidentified American officer gave Associated Press reporter Peter Arnett a memorable explanation for the destruction.

Arnett used it in the opening of the story he wrote:

“It became necessary to destroy the town to save it,” a U.S. major said Wednesday.
He was talking about the grim decision that allied commanders made when Viet Cong attackers overran most of this Mekong Delta city 45 miles southwest of Saigon. They decided that regardless of civilian casualties they must bomb and shell the once placid river city of 35,000 to rout the Viet Cong forces.

After Arnett’s story was published in newspapers the next morning, February 8, 1968, the unnamed major’s remark became one of the most infamous war-related quotes in modern history.

At least 300,000 Americans will have lost their lives due to his willful, criminal negligence. Not one word of sorrow, condolence or empathy for those who survive this human tragedy. He is not even capable of faking it. That will be his legacy going forward after January 20th and forever.

at the very least, the Covid pandemic would have been a great place to start.

Think of it. He could have redeemed his reputation with his critics, at least somewhat, and kept his legacy from being as awful as it was always going to be...and won the election. I firmly believe the disastrous handling of the virus is what gave him such a small chance of winning...and there was that, even at the very day of the election.

He didn't have to do a stellar job. Even a lackluster, mediocre job would have done. I hope he truly realizes that one day.

From where he stands it's all going according to plan. He likes what covid is doing. He thinks he's bullet proof.

You're giving him too much credit and he's not that deep. The pain is the target. The suffering is the plan.

He is doing a stellar job by psychopath standards.

He will never come close to seeing your perspective.

It's a sad state of affairs and a set of thought patterns too twisted to have to try and wrap our heads around.

He is evil personified. That’s the best we can expect and it's terrifyingly sad.
