legally elected representatives (Congress can only use their power of expulsion to get rid of such members).

And of course even if they could there is no chance of this actually happening.

They just signed a lawsuit claiming the elections were illegal. At least some of them are self-admitted illegally elected?

https://www.politico.com/story/2009/01/dems-accept-burris-into-the-senate-017366

The SCOTUS begged off the case and left the Appeals Court ruling in place that directed that IL hold special elections for the seat. But that didn't happen until a year or so later, and Democrats relented after much rancor, and seated Burris (after which he was replaced by Mark Kirk (R-IL) who won the special election the following year to fill out that term). Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) eventually won the full next term of that seat. Dick Durbin is the other Senator there.

The Senate also refused to seat Al Franken for some 7 months, even with all the court cases and the vote having initially been certified.

So yes, they can refuse if their rules so deem it.

I.e., if the House rules allow it then it can be done and the SCOTUS cannot interfere with that.

Media outlets should henceforth refuse the 126 any airtime whatsoever. They are avowed enemies of the democratic process by signing on to this, deny them media exposure. Any future story in which they appear should clearly identify them as signers of the shameful amicus brief designed to author a virtual coup.

failed in their duties as a duly elected representation to uphold the laws of the the US. They are not. If they don't sign their oaths they should be stripped of their elected offices and new representatives selected/nominated...they did this during the civil war (and I'm not 100% sure if they were appointed or elected via new elections at that time) when the confederate states seceded from the Union (or tried), thus, the federal government installed new governments (when each state was readmitted) and required a oath to honor and support the US government and the constitution.

These men and women have demonstrated their unwillingness to protect the country and the Constitution. Their actions are seditious and there should be consequences for the bad faith and dishonor they've willfully enacted, as in forfeiting their right to be seated.

Enough is enough. Time to push back.
