Not here to fight, and not directly just to you personally, but to a general attitude that we could all improve on.

Republicans are notorious for not caring about issues unless it benefits their own family and friends.
Democrats ideally work for the betterment of all people in the country, regardless of party or familiarity.
Some of them want to punish us, with bullets or other violent oppressions.
We want to have healthcare for everyone.
That is an important distinction.

I know they are assholes, but I don't think we should therefore turn our backs on children, the elderly, etc for living in the same state as them.
One of the most dangerous things about Trumpism is that it drags everyone down to a lower level.
We see that in threads like this one, when I would prefer us standing strong on our principles.
