We have a few inches of snow on the ground, and my Christmas wishes are all coming true

I really liked the one last night, with SCOTUS smacking Trump back to the stone age. That was a major Christmas wish!

The trumplicans are just bound and determined to destroy the republican party.. that is the deep state that they refer to all the time.. not the Democrats.

I am sitting here, smiling, with my coffee, and snow and perfect almost Christmas day..

The trumplicans will be headaches for quite a while.. but in the end.. they will just nasty away like their incompetent leader and his screwball family.

It's so nice and good to see some optimism! And I happen to agree with you about the followers of Mr. Trump. What state are you in where you have some nice snow cover?

I am deeply disappointed in its politics right now, but that can change. Sure, Grant Wood - the house was or still is in . . . Eldon?

As for Trumplicans, if all they wanted to do was destroy the Repub party, I'd be all on board with that. Problem is, they want to destroy America as we've come to know it, and I won't abide with that.

Just about done with my morning pot of coffee. Time for a bit of a walk and pick up the paper.

Life goes on, thankfully.

I want peace, health, prosperity, and a smooth transition to the competent, compassionate, scientifically-informed Biden-Harris era.

No snow here in Nashville, but I have several holly trees in my yard that are bursting with berries....plenty to "deck my halls," to share, and plenty left to brighten the yard and provide winter food for the mockingbirds. 🐦
Enjoy your snow and the pleasures of the season. I hope that all will be "merry and bright "

and my mother used to enjoy watching the resident mocking bird's antics from our living room window. The tree blew over in a storm, and my mother was sad because she was afraid she wouldn't see that mocker again. Unbeknownst to her, my dad had a distinguished local nature artist paint a picture of a mockingbird sitting in a holly tree and gave it to her. My parents are both gone now, but I cherish that painting and all it represents about my parents, their values, and their relationship. And I have tremendous gratitude and know I am deeply blessed to own a home of my own and to have a yard with holly trees and beautiful birds! May all be so blessed!
