Even though his mother is American she had intent to have Canadian citizenship when she voted. Also, they didn't file with the embassy his birth identifying as an American.

This was after Ted & Co. moved out.

The house was a big block-shaped thing, mostly glass, mid-60s futuristic style, and must have been hellishly expensive to heat. It's gone now, somebody knocked it down and put up a McMansion.

We assume he's trying to be clever, and it may not be the case. If you accept that R. Heinlein actually formulated "never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity" as a law then assuming he really is dumber than a bag of hammers would explain things just as well.

Which makes the March for Science answer great. It can be taken as smart ass, or it could be the way a teacher would respond to the hardworking but not too clever student when they ask a legitimate question.

Rafaelito knows how to screw an opponent politically, he knows how to organize a riot in an election county facility. We have no reason to believe his knowledge of science is particularly strong.

Using hammers while in a bag would be inefficient and difficult.

But I suppose that’s still one up on Rafi.

If it ends up that Biden wins in November — I hope he doesn’t, I don’t think he will — but if he does, I guarantee you the week after the election, suddenly all those Democratic governors, all those Democratic mayors, will say, “Everything’s magically better, go back to work, go back to school, suddenly all the problems are solved.” You won’t even have to wait for Biden to be sworn in. All they’ll need is Election Day, and suddenly their willingness to destroy people’s lives and livelihoods … they will have accomplished their task. That’s wrong, It’s cynical, and we shouldn’t be a part of it.

Was that a money-back guarantee, Teddy? I'll settle for your resignation from office in disgrace and your disbarment for depraved indifference in grossly misleading the public leading to mass casualties.

... That the pandemic they claim is a hoax was going to magically disappear like yesterday's news if Biden won the election.

How have they acknowledged that the pandemic has continued unabated to dominate the national discourse, to disrupt millions of lives, and to kill thousands and thousands more Americans? Oh, right: by not acknowledging at all that they were totally wrong, as usual, about everything -- or not at all fessing up that they were just lying to stoke fear. Usual Republican BS M.O.

they asked me to narrow down who I thought the DNC should attack next for about 6 months. The final survey was between Cruz and tRump. It was a no brainer a year earlier, Cruz of course. But ever since the golden escalator I knew tRump would win and told the DNC to go after him. I should have added, "with a wooden stake if all else fails.
