Congressman Mitchell of Michigan no longer a Republican. He is disgusted

with the leadership of the Republucan Party. He is retiring. He sees himself as a conservative and voted for Trump but now is an independant. CNN

Says he's going independent because the GOP puts party over country. Rep. Paul Mitchell is a conservative, but says he's had enough.

Thanks to wiser men like TLP & RAP (Republicans Against Trump) if you moved only 4% to leave the Trump cult, then your effort was well served.

6. He voted for Trump, so I wouldn't be so generous with the term "reasonable".

He voted for Trump, and didn't think it would result in a festering shitstorm. So, 'reasonable'? I think not...

Yes you have a point I didn't consider.
His changing to Independent means nothing except he's trying to hide the facist filth from his identity.

A lot of WW2 Nazis did the same when the party ended & they scattered.

Truth & yes, you are correct.

We'll prob see a few more mea culpas as the end of trump nears.

The other two who pretend to be moderate, Collins and Portman, are hopeless.

Collins lies about flipping and Portman is a human weathervane. They cannot be trusted.
