This democracy is really fragile

If it wasn’t for
- 1 Republican Michigan state canvasser (while the other tried to throw out the vote)
- 1 Republican Wisconsin Supreme Court justice (while 3 others tried to throw out the vote)
- a Wisconsin Supreme Court election in April, that replaced a conservative hack with a liberal
- 3 Trump SCOTUS picks
- 2 Republican Governors
- 1 Republican Secretary of State
- 4 federal judges appointed by Trump
- 2018 election that got us governors, attorney generals, and Secretaries of State in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania

This is how close trump came to cheating and overturning the election....

... is lulling themselves into a false sense of security.

At best, after the 2020 election, we can be said to be in a stable but critical condition.

If team trump had been a scootch less completely incompetent, we'd be in a heap of trouble right now.

We dodged many a bullet. And if something isn’t done to address the crimes these MF’ers perpetrated on the People, the next gang that couldn’t shoot straight just may be able to.

Our Democratic Institutions barely held up in a blowout of an election, they absolutely wouldn't held up if this had been reasonably close.

But democracy has always been fragile. It's also very resilient.

Do you have a suggestion for a better system?

Could have disregarded the voters votes, soooooo... I actually think the Canada and Europe with their parliamentary systems are waaay better than what we have.....or how about just a national popular vote

... pulled some of his bullshit off and screwed everybody.

I know they didn't account of the flood of info on ballot box drop offs bypassing the USPS slowing mail in ballots.
