Report: Obama Hauls In Record $150 Million In September

Report: Obama Hauls In Record $150 Million In September

President Obama's campaign set a monthly record for the 2012 cycle in September, hauling in $150 million, according to the Wall Street Journal:

The September total far surpasses the $114 million raised in August, when the Obama team snapped a three-month streak in which it was outraised by Republican challenger Mitt Romney. At the time, the $114 million was the most the Obama campaign had collected in any one month in the 2012 election season. The most the Romney campaign has collected so far was $111 million in August.

Both the Obama and Romney campaigns are raising money jointly with their respective national party committees.

for us too. Last night was an embarrassment. It looked like he was the kid who got caught not doing his homework. I expect more from my candidate than what I saw. Until he shows me that he cares enough to prepare for a debate, no more money from me.

Shake it off. This election is not over. We keep keeping on and we've got this thing. Obama, a not very good debater in any circumstance, had a bad night because he didn't know how to respond to Romney's complete about face on so many issues. Won't happen again.

I want him to stand up for liberals. Spend some time getting prepared so he is ready to respond. If he wants us to fight for him, he needs to fight for us. I will most certainly vote for Obama, but I think he needs to be sent the message that he needs to stand up for the people who make all those donations.

His performance was the weakest of any President not named George Bush that I can remember.

nonsense. Hell, he spent the day trying to prevent wwIII in the middle east

I think he was thrown because the Mitt onstage was not the Mitt all election season. Like trying to nail jello to a wall. Every time Obama made a point Mitt would say "that's not what I believe/will do" which was a big fat lie.

People excell at some things and not so much at others. I like to think I coulda danced rings around Romney but I know better. I'm a lawyer and occasionally argue before our state Supreme Court. I spend hours preparing, practicing, etc but they ask a question I'm not prepared for or the other side lies and it can knock me off my game. But even at my best? When I think I said everything I wanted to? I NEVER leave the courthouse I don't think "I wish I had said_____"
