Why has CNN elevated Smirconish's profile?

He used to be relegated to the Saturday morning slot. He is Mr Whataboutism trying so hard to be relevant.

a few years back, I don't understand his draw for CNN either, he is thuglican light along with the whataboutism and bothsideism...
