As a devout agnostic, I stay away from discussing organized religion with others. The damn thing is, the more radical "Christian" sects won't leave the rest of us alone until we believe what they believe.

The worst of them are those who are part and parcel of right-wing Republican fascism. I have no idea what's wrong with them (Graham, Falwell Jr., etc.). Are they hucksters peddling religion to gullible people in order to enrich themselves? Do they actually believe the shit they're selling and that it's "part of God's plan." Is it some combination of both? I don't know. But what I do know is that their concepts of human values and morality are totally fucked up. They sure as hell aren't speaking for the Jesus who was written about in the bible.

They should stick to their pulpits and stay the hell away from politicians and those of us who don't want to buy what they're selling, -- and what they too often want to force upon us through the rule of law.

I checked out Jack Graham's Twitter feed. He is an immoral monster, the opposite of a true Christian.
