Before Joe Biden moves into the White House

I hope he has all the mattresses changed.

I say this only partly in jest. Donald Trump is such a spiteful, childish, *nasty* person (and I use that term loosely) that it wouldn't surprise me at all if he arranged some disgusting, secret "welcome" for the Bidens. Because of Covid, I assume the WH will be cleaned like it's never been cleaned before; I just hope the mattresses are included.

I would much prefer if he didn't move into the White House for a week or two. He also needs to get rid of any staff with loyalties to Trump. It's not safe.

while conducting business from Day One elsewhere. Then, perhaps, a virtual ceremony for his official moving in. That would be uplifting, encouraging, and a pretty good excuse for a party.

.

Of course, it must be ventilated and caution must be taken to not breathe it in. When treating homes, one or more units are required and everything you want alive must be removed and plans to reopen to vent must be made ahead of time.

Car dealers use it to neutralize car odors, running them an hour, and it takes care of smoke odor too.

The ruts in the President’s bed and fried chicken grease from trump wiping his hands on the drapes, are a non starter for a new administration.

Yes we can fumigate, kill all the germs and make it safe enough for humans again, but the very soul of the WH has been defiled and sullied beyond retrieval. It will never be the same.

upthread we need some symbolic soul-regenerating activities?

Let's include Native American medicine people (shamans?) Everyone can be part of the moving-in ceremony.

I think it would be fun to have an Acme movers van pull up to the front of the WH. Along with a Four Seasons truck. Let's milk it.

So, a change of mattresses is a given, along with everything. If Trump leaves his nasty, gaudy stuff, it will all be hauled out of there before the Bidens move in.
