Name somethings that you want Biden to do?
Name somethings that you want Biden to do?
1. Raise SSI/SSD by about 500 bucks per month. The old and disabled are suffering and need more. 2. Raise the minimum wage to $15 bucks per hour 3. Rebuild the unions and fight to rebuild the middle class. The rich are taking it all and robbing the workers of any chance at upward mobility. Use anti-trust and all the tools in the book if needed. 4. Full college debt forgiveness and free 4 year public university education. 5. A public housing program for all homeless people. ![]() 6. A full blown jobs program like fdr done to get people back to work and to rebuild our country. You know things that matter. What is your list?

2. Public option
Reasonably priced with very little out-of-pocket, and find a way to greatly reduce or eliminate the OOPs of all ACA plans. That is the secret to making it “affordable.” Solution - tax the rich.

3. Accountability. Making sure the authoritarians and sociopaths pay
He doesn't have to be the one doing this on a daily basis but he must make it happen. We can't sweep the last four years under the rug.

4. Recreate the Civilian Conservation Corps
My dad’s family was dirt poor in rural Alabama in 1935 so at 14 he joined the Civilian Conservation Corps. It helped save a generation of young people who otherwise would not have learned basic work skills. He told me that they went to Nevada and planted a million trees. We need to save the environment, many young people today have trouble getting a job.

6. Health care public option.
$10,000 out of pocket expense, $13,000 in premiums and they only pay for half of the prescriptions that I require. That is with the ACA now.
This year without any insurance, I only paid $1,100 in doctor visits and blood work, then my prescriptions cost $120 a month paying cash. The only risk is a hospitalization, but I am broke with or without insurance with that Scenario |

15. In addition to all the above, a national mask wearing reward program....
Five buck food coupon each time you're witnessed wearing a mask in public by a store employee or public official.
(I know, too complex to execute but I though it was cool) Seriously and in addition to all the above........ * Publicly recognize all our front line medical workers and other key personnel in the battle with covid. Fund mental health care, vacation time and/or bonuses for those people. * Publicly honor those who have died from COVID-19 and most especially medical workers and first responders. * Work hard to reduce economic inequality and start by raising taxes on the ultra-wealthy and corporations. * Restore food support for all those who are in food poverty, especially children. * Restore rational rules on treatment of migrants, immigrants and refugees and punish and/or fire all those responsible for immigrant abuse during tRump years. Work hard on immigration reform. * Rebuild the EPA to its former glory and enforce clean air and clean water rules and laws. * Rebuild the Chemical Safety Board and OSHA to their former funding and glory. * Fund the rebuilding of infrastructure, particularly bridges, roads and public schools. * Refocus funding of public education to support only public schools so our teachers no longer have to buy books and supplies out of pocket. * De-militarize and reform city, state and federal police forces and force them out of politics. 'Nuf sed for now......... ![]() |
