A voice like mine has never been a Cabinet secretary or at the head of the Department of Interior.

Growing up in my mother’s Pueblo household made me fierce. I’ll be fierce for all of us, our planet, and all of our protected land.

I am honored and ready to serve.

Deb stated this when she cast her vote for Biden at the convention.
I loved it!

I love to contemplate how the world would be different had the Native Americans prevailed.

It's long overdue for Native Americans to have an Interior Secretary who is uniquely aware of their needs.

Deb is an excellent choice for Secretary of the Interior. I hope a strong candidate will take her place as our representative. Even though we are usually reliably blue here, I can't help but remember when we had Heather Wilson in that seat. I was so glad when she lost!
