Russia is an infinitely more dangerous adversary than China...

Russia is an infinitely more dangerous adversary than China because it's armed to the teeth and has nothing to lose. It's a big gas station with nukes.

They are unconventional. They have infiltrated our financial, intelligence, and cyber systems. Everywhere we have conflict abroad they are also there in one way or another.

especially with the damn corrupt fool the US has had as president the past four years. I question if the US can ever recover, Russia is so entranced in about all of the US systems. Trump is clueless, but also complicit.

As someone who spends many months out of the year in both Russia and China for work, I disagree immensely. Russia does not have aspirations to be the big swinging dick in the global economy. Xi Jingping does not give a fuck how he reaches his objectives- nuclear, bio agent, etc. Putin is indeed not a nice fella, but Xi Jingping is an evil fuck. Just ask the Uyghurs.

A big part of their game is the appearance of legitimacy. Taking that away is significant. The US needs to be more strategic about Russia.

Russia has maliciously attacked us repeatedly the last four years, brazenly poisons nationals of other countries ...

China is hell bent in overtaking us as the preempt world economic power, are shady, but doesn't cross the lines Russia does.

I mean if they overtake us as the top economic power, so be it.
