For my 10,000th post

I want to thank the folks that run this website and do such a great job. And of course a big thanks and Merry Christmas to everyone here. You have helped me keep my sanity for the last four years along with entertaining me.

I participate in a lot of web forums and this is by far the most well run with the best and most intelligent people. Thanks for being an important part of my life.

I must say, you are one of the many people here I wish I had known many years ago. You always have something nice to say. A trait I admire and have yet to attain, I'm afraid. Hard to do on a political forum.

I hit 40k earlier this year.
Of course I've been here 11 years more than you.
And, I post more in retirement than I did for the first 17 years!
Interesting how these numbers with zeroes resonate with us, I think.
