Trump is refusing to transfer the Twitter @POTUS and @WHITEHOUSE accounts to Biden administration

Biden transition says Trump admin has refused to transfer the
@POTUS and @WhiteHouse Twitter accounts with followers and that Biden must start from zero — reversing goodwill gesture from Obama admin in 2016.

Biden will still have the accounts. Apparently the followers are optional somehow. Most of the followers are russian bots/trolls/IRA anyway so who wants them?

Twitter should cancel the accounts and the Biden White House should create new ones. Once Trump is no longer president, they become unverified--even fraudulent--accounts.

transferred appropriately by twitter. He will have no say in it. Twitter already stated they would be transferred. But I don't think it will be done until after Biden is sworn in.
