They believe rich people are rich because Gawd loves them more. He rewards you by making you rich. Poor people are poor because they are somehow unworthy, and Gawd hates them. Therefore, they deserve to suffer. They don't deserve to be "comfortable." Which is why he thinks what the Dems want to do is a bad thing.
