House republicans are trying to help him by yammering about the foreign aid in the bill. So far democrats have resisted lowering the foreign aid, I really don’t understand that, especially if it is a sticking point that allows republicans to deny Americans that meet requirements more money. I like what Nancy Pelosi said and how she said it but I don't see how she could have possibly said anything else. I also don't see how any other Democrat in her position would have responded differently. I don't see how this is an example of leadership, it's more of an obvious reaction.

I do appreciate those who have been fighting for more and have never wavered since the very beginning. Maybe the Democratic Party can learn something from them.
