They demand that Pelosi and the Democrats talks tougher and "scream bloody murder" and when it's pointed out to them that that usually won't achieve any actual results, we're told it doesn't matter - they need to say it anyway because " words matter."

But now that they're saying something , some of the same folks come back and attack them for that, claiming "those are just words - they don't make any difference."

If he were human, had a conscious and a heart that might work. But, he's not, he's a vile, calculating partisan who knows how to manipulate the system to benefit his agenda. I get your being upset. Without the Senate and the House we can't fix anything. Unless we get some support from the moderate Republicans (of which there are what? 1 to 3 in the Senate, depending on the bill and which way the wind blows) we are kneecapped in what we can do under McConnell.

We need the Senate, desperately. Which is what we're all hoping for here. If this gives us an edge, even a tiny one, it's good.
