“Conflicting internal memos created confusion inside the White House on Wednesday about when staffers in the Executive Office of the President should begin preparing to leave work ahead of the transition next month,” Politico reports.

“In an email Wednesday morning from the White House Management Office, EOP staffers were instructed to ‘please disregard’ an earlier memo that had been sent Tuesday informing them that they ‘will start departing’ on the week of Jan. 4.”

The government and walking off before the inauguration? Sounds like he wanted to leave another mess for Biden to clean up even before he could start. Not that Trump's ever been hard at work, but someone would notice if the doors were locked and all the lights were turned off.

I’d pay good money to see the Secret Service drag him out in handcuffs. I don’t think that will happen though. He’ll threaten to stay then leave at the last minute.

He won't get dragged out...

He may eventually leave the same way he left when he went to Walter Reed. He's gonna have the last laugh. The media is gonna descend on the Trump reality show known as the WH.

As we all know by now he's "gotta" have the last laugh, the last word, etc., etc.

He's the natural provacateur for l'esprit d'escalier or staircase wit. We'll think of the most galling and soul-stinging remarks only after he has departed. Not that there has been any shortage in the meantime! And of course his limited focus means nothing said here is likely to ever penetrate his myopic bubble anyway!
