Columbus officer who fatally shot unarmed Black man has history of excessive force, misconduct

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2020/12/23/columbus-activists-outrage-over-police-shooting-unarmed-black-man/4026522001/

There are plenty of things that piss me off about these stories, but one thing that really infuriates me is that these cops never live in they city/counties where the work. Take this guy for example, he lives in Union County, Ohio which is almost all white and a Republican stronghold....But he works in Franklin County/Columbus, Ohio which is diverse and liberal...so he gets paid by taxpayers who he probably hates and also terrorizes them, but then goes home to his lily white home.

So when the city gets sued, the people are actually paying for this assholes actions.

Coy could not be reached for comment Wednesday. His two-story home in Union County is decorated for Christmas but now has a store-bought "No Trespassing" sign taped to the front door.

more than a human life they haven't had to invest in. In addition, with any conviction of a cop the cop looses his/her right to carry a gun, meaning that their financial investment is at risk of being wasted. Until this changes nothing will change.
