She was praised in the OC Register, the conservative paper in competition with the LA Times. But the Register went on to endorse her challenger. The paper also endorsed Harley Ronda (who defeated Rohrabachet in '18) and he lost to a crook named Michelle Steel.

Lesson: The GOP voter trusts no one, but apparently loves crooks.
