The ghosts of Dolley Madison, Jackie Kennedy, Nancy Reagan, and Frances Cleveland, among others, are waiting outside to have a word about that. Come to think about it, most of the former first ladies were more accomplished and socially active than the current occupant.

(I'm fond of Frances Cleveland since she's from my home town - and unlike the current occupant, actually earned a BA - back in the 1880s. And she still looks fantastic even in photos taken during the 19th century)
