Trump criticizes Senate Republicans ahead of election results vote, urges a 'fight'

President Trump on Saturday ramped up his criticism of Senate Republicans over their unwillingness to aid his efforts to overturn the election, pressing them to "fight" before President-elect Joe Biden is sworn into office.

Trump called out Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and other Republicans, asserting they are doing "NOTHING" as Congress heads toward a vote early next month to certify the Electoral College results.

"If a Democrat Presidential Candidate had an Election Rigged & Stolen, with proof of such acts at a level never seen before, the Democrat Senators would consider it an act of war, and fight to the death. Mitch & the Republicans do NOTHING, just want to let it pass. NO FIGHT!" Trump tweeted.

The comment marked the latest broadside in Trump's attempt to get at least one GOP senator to back a challenge to the Electoral College results when Congress meets to certify them on Jan. 6.

2000 anyone? 2016 anyone? We pretty much just roll over and suffer. And those were ACTUALLY stolen. Maybe even 2004.

That’s how DC works. Ye who holds the power wields it. It worked for Trump with impeachment with R Senate and it will work for Biden with D House. Win some. Loose some. It’s that black and white.

I hope he utterly puts a stake through the heart of the Republican power grab.

He's already ruined Rudy Giuliani, Bill Barr, and Jeff Sessions, plus I'm sure many others. If he can kill off the rest of the party, he will have done us a service, after all.

the Senate. I doubt any of them pay much attention to Graham but cannot believe trump and Lindsey are that close, who knows?

The ads claim evidence of election fraud, listing "facts" and "evidence".

For example, it is "known" that millions of "illegal aliens" were allowed to vote. It is a "fact" that the voting machines flipped votes. It has been "proven" that suitcases containing thousands of "ballots" were dropped off in the middle of the night and that no one knows where these ballots came from.

Oh, and it's not too late to donate.

If you had some proof, why haven't you brought any of it forward for the last seven weeks? Just so you know, "proof" doesn't include "some unidentified poll worker looked at me funny."
