his wife is because she's one of his fucking trophies. She's a symbol of his virility and wealth, that he is obviously worthy to have an attractive mate, a model! If she's rejected, that means he's rejected, and that's the real problem here. God, I'm so sick of his petty narcissism!

If there wasn't so much happening all the time, important shit happening, I would just be enjoying the Holidays and be oblivious to the fucking news, but he and his wretched followers have to bring their bullshit into every corner of the country. But like you said, 25 days. We're so close....

who was there with Marla Maples. When Marla excused herself to go to the bathroom, Trump immediately interrupted the conversation and said "She's really hot, isn't she?" And then he spent the whole time she was gone going on and on about how hot she was and even said that if he weren't there, they'd be trying to screw her. When Marla returned, he went right back to talking about whatever they were talking about before she left.

My friend said he knew then Trump was an insecure pig. He felt sorry for Marla and wondered if she had any idea he talked about her like that when she wasn't within earshot.

This is a man who defines himself by external things - the women he dates and marries, the crowds he draws, the employees and sycophants who drool all over him, etc. - but who has no sense of self-worth, capacity for joy or ability to take pleasure in anything beyond trying to satisfy his insatiable ego and retaliate against all perceived slights.

What an empty, pathetic, soulless shell of a man.

She should have kept her clothes on for a few decades beforehand. Can’t command respect when you’ve been a floozy (recall the patent leather boots shot in the plane cockpit).

I can't stand that expression perpetually painted on her face. Isn't that look called "heroin chic"?

This is quite telling.

A gentle reminder that magazine cover features require an interview component. @FLOTUS has not given an interview to a national publication during her term as first lady.

Some asshole wanted to show off that he had gotten one of the 100,000 Xmas cards the White House mailed out. He posted a picture of the front, which had the two of them posed in the midst of decorated trees, with the caption “Classy Couple.”
First response was “Who’s that?” to which he replied “The best President and First Lady of our lifetimes.”
Next response, which had several hundred Likes, was “Oh, sorry. I didn’t recognize her with her clothes on or him without his size 54 khakis and golf shirt.”

As others have pointed out, a picture of the First Lady on the cover of a magazine means there's a lengthy interview with her inside. And usually if not always, her First Lady project is the biggest thing they talk about.

Melania Trump's First Lady project is anti-cyberbullying. Eventually someone would get around to asking her how running an anti-cyberbullying project works when your own husband is the worst cyberbully in the history of the Internet.
