Why didn’t he just hand over the phone to prove it was truly his?. All he had do was follow the orders of the lady and the hotel manager.

One does not tackle someone with no intent to injure, or at least, with willful regard to that person's safety.
I think what she did rises to battery.
The hotel manager needs a one week suspension. (Unless there's a history, I don't believe in a firing because someone else acted badly.). The very fact he didn't deescalate the situation and allowed paying guests to be mistreated calls for a time out.
Also turns out this nutty woman lost her own damned phone, and then presumed it must have been stolen.
She needs to be charged.

now, I see that it is the majority of us.

But, not all of us are hate-filled racists. Some of us try to do better and teach our kids to be better than we are.

Not enough; too many are stuck in views that I thought had at least moderated somewhat.

The one thing that Orange Pustule has done is shown how much racism was hidden under a mask of civility/politeness. Now, they have ripped off their masks because their Orange Overlord has told them to wear their hate openly. It is horrible, but better to know who we're dealing with.

She’s not just accusing the 14 year old of stealing her phone. In order for it to make any kind of sense the father has to be in on it, too. I mean, what parent doesn’t know what kind of phone their kid owns? And what parent is going to stand there and let their kid steal a strangers phone? So in this ladies demented mind this is some kind of Fagan-esque cartel she is confronting, a regular son and Dad crime ring.

How demented is that?
