A 2/3 vote of the House is required.
Many members are not present and are voting by proxy.
Most Republicans have not voted yet.

(62,536 posts)Pelosi would let it go to the media, push for a majority vote, spend 2-3 hours playing the media, letting Twitter lose it because the Republicans failed to vote for it, it would be a disaster for them, 3/3 blocking $2000 bill?

It will pass today. Whether the Republicans want to go kicking and screaming is up for the tally to determine.

(693 posts)Does it also need 2/3 to pass in the Senate?
And if that fails, can they try again with only a simple majority needed to pass?
Thanks
