$600 is to be deposited to my Social Security account January 4th.

I already put in my boot order for some custom boots from a local guy, and putting what's left over into savings for my "con savings," for when we can have nerd conventions again in late 2021 or 2022.

My SO is paying off her car with $350, and putting the rest towards some new golf clubs from a local pro shop instead of Amazon.

Our household is stimulating the economy as requested.

A couple of my neighbors have received today, others on the 1st. I found out about mine yesterday when I read about these arriving in some DU'ers here. I immediately called my bank and asked if she could see the $600 in my queue and she confirmed.

It's a relief for me.

I have a niece who works for a credit union and customers are calling her up screaming at her to release their money, as if the credit union is somehow holding the money back.

42. I was midway last time, so I figured I'd be the same this time.

Took about 6 weeks last round, If I recall correctly. I'm good though, I've kept $200 of the last check carry over every month, because sometimes my check is late, that way I can make sure I'm never overdrawn. The $600 will allow me to buy my sons Christmas pressies- late, but that's okay, and pay my car insurance due this month, pay for my tires, but still leave that $200 carry over. I am super grateful!

I have been fortunate to work throughout this whole disaster, so I've been okay, but had to have new tires. I've got them half paid off, so it will be nice to pay off the balance and start the new year with a clean slate.

I feel so bad for those who have been laid off or lost their jobs altogether. The stress and crippling weight of bills piling up, with no end in sight. In Oregon, our governor extended the mortgage and rent forgiveness, yet I saw "Wanted" signs for her yesterday. I was happy to see someone beat me to taking them down today. In Oregon's rural areas, Kate Brown is enemy number one, for saving lives and keeping people in their homes.

Mine’s coming to a prepaid debit card, same card my tax return and the last stimulus were deposited to. I got the last stimulus very quickly, was hoping it would be the same this time. I guess not. Probably because I need it badly this go round. I needed the last one, also, but still had some savings back then.

Friends of mine got theirs early yesterday morning. They get food stamps and WIC, and I am wondering if those on any sort of aid and those who get social security are receiving theirs first? Which is fine, I just wish we knew how they are being distributed so I have a better idea of when to expect it. It’s making me anxious.
