My mom was widowed with 7 kids in 1971. I despise the “woah is me” single parent/divorced parent BS be a widowed parent- with 7 kids. Then get back to me.

Off my soap box. But. I will never forget.
(Btw- my mom was a journalist- and was published in NYT....we were low middle income in the 70/80s. She never dated and never complained)
