was Mitch being "disloyal," but he is still in office and poised to become a greater political influence than Trump. Even if Mitch loses control of the Senate, he will still have some strength because the votes in the Senate will be so close. So Mitch will take over as a political power and Trump can't tolerate the challenge to his own influence.
