Pulitzer worthy article in the current New Yorker is a must read

"The Plague Year" by Lawrence Wright is the most comprehensive, well researched, heart wrenching story of the year!
It will change your mind about a lot of misinformation, especially about Dr. Birx.
Lengthily informative and entertaining chronological story of the 2020 cluster fuck.
This article alone is worth a subscription.

I was very surprised and think her efforts deserve an in depth report or even a Documentary.

sometimes heartbreaking.

If you don't have a New Yorker subscription, try accessing it in 'incognito' mode. That usually restarts the count for free views, so you can see this one. It's probably the best thing you'll read in a month, so worth reading however you can.

21. This has changed my perception of Dr. Birx at least somewhat

The tidbit about her grandmother bringing flu home during the last pandemic and giving it to her mom was heartbreaking. Imagine having to live with that guilt for 88 years. I know that both her and Dr. Fauci had to do a delicate dance between informing the public while at the same time not getting on Captain Trumps bad side. I know they both were in an impossible position. I still think Dr. Fauci did a better job with dealing with the BS and informing the public. I don't think Dr. Birx had that skillset but I did feel bad for her during that notorious bleach and LED press conference. One comment below the video said that Dr. Birx is actively dying inside and I don't disagree. The look on her face and the way her legs and feet were twitching was very revealing. I never seen a person want to disappear more in all my life.
