138. I'll drink to that.
However, I fear that prosecuting Trump as the mobster he is, would be too harsh an admission for most to handle. The majority of politicians, even Dems, will balk at the stark truth it will tell if it's handled as it should be and justice prevails.
Never mind that fact that allowing white collar criminals like Trump to get away with murder. while shooting certain people for possibly stealing a cigar, or whatever the fuck, is a far worse and shameful admission about what we claim to be the greatest democracy on earth--or "democratic republic", as I'd be reminded by those who are nevertheless 100% behind USA's wars and assassinations supposedly meant to spread USA-style democracy throughout the world. |

This is what a mob boss does. It is a pressure play. There are veiled threats. There are blatant lies.
Mostly - this is a monster that no one ever has said "no" to, and the country, through a clean election, has finally said "no". Throw the fucking asshole in jail and throw away the key. |

13. So this actually sounds like it was very recent. Is that so? No date is given, but tRump at the
end says "you have a big election coming up Tuesday" which he wouldn't have said if it wasn't within the last couple of days.
Don't know whether a court of law would say it is attempted blackmail. The words "I'm putting you on notice" are the closest thing, but not sure how that would be interpreted, i.e., on notice of what? That wasn't specified. tRump (or actually his lawyers) would just argue that he was just letting the GA SOS know clearly that he wasn't happy by that word choice, that there was no threat real or implied. |

It’d be an awful shame if something’ was to happen to it. So just do me this one little favor and everythng will be just hunky-dopey. Know what I mean?
Raffensberger and Germany know that “president” is on his way out and, therefore, carries no political weight any longer. They were careful in their rebuttal of Trump’s lies and false allegations, however, and didn’t even suggest to him that what he was doing was almost certainly criminal. But they held their ground. So Kudos to them both. Trump should go to jail for so many things. But this is a glaring one. A crime committed in full daylight with audio evidence. Pity is, he won’t be called to account for it by the Law. |

Withholding military aid to an ally which was approved by Congress in order to try to extort negative press on a domestic political opponent who is now the President-elect of the USA.
He however was kept in office which has ultimately resulted in the premature deaths of hundreds of thousands of American citizens. The Republican enablers did this and should be held accountable. |

To prevent getting exposed , and likely prison. This is probably nothing compared to other things he's trying to do that we don't know about. trumps a corrupt criminal, and if he doesn't get held accountable , and sent to prison , we will lose our Democracy from a lack of law and order, and especially justice. The American people will lose all faith in our government if this has no serious consequences.

Not sure if asking to have votes "re-calculated" would be illegal. However, if the Secretary of State actually followed through on doing that for Trump, then that opens up the illegalities.
Saying he needs him to find over 11,000 votes for Trump so it would show he won has hypocrisy written all over it....claims there's fraud, but at the same wants the Secretary of State to commit fraud. |

he would be "going through some things" if he didn't find those 11,000 votes.
And like other posters wrote, it was just like listening to a scene from The Godfather. The way he kept putting forth possible talking points for Raffensberger to use to explain why he changed the vote tally. And, like Michael Cohen told us, the way he makes demands on people through these indirect statements that he thinks give him plausible deniability ("I never told him to change the vote count!!!).
