Have we talked about Bean Dad yet?

So this guy named John Roderick posted a story on Twitter that went something like this...his nine-year-old daughter daughter asked him to open a can of beans because she was hungry. He made her open it herself, although she didn’t know how to use a can opener. It took six hours.

People were angry about this. Some saw it as abusive. Others went through his old tweets and found several that come across as racist and antisemitic. Apparently he also liked to threaten to rape people.

Anyhow, he hosts a podcast with Ken Jennings, the Jeopardy guy. Jennings tried to defend him. It didn’t go over too well. And some of Jennings’ old tweets are coming as a result. Looks like Bean Dad may keep Jennings from getting a full time gig on the show, although they haven’t said anything.

So tired of watching people stage shit for tik Tok or facebook or youtube or whatever, exploiting their pets and kids for clicks. This jerk probably would have just fed his kid and skipped the performance if he didn't think there'd be an audience for him to "teach her a lesson".
