"We found a way in other states..."

Mitchell: .... And it doesn't even, and as I, as the president said, we haven't even gotten into the Dominion issue. That's not part of our case. It's not part of our, we just didn't feel as though we had any way to be able to develop —

Trump: No, we do have a way but I don't want to get into it. We found a way in other states excuse me, but we don't need it because we're only down 11,000 votes so we don't even need it. I personally think they're corrupt as hell. But we don't need that. Because all we have to do Cleta is find 11,000-plus votes. So we don't need that. I'm not looking to shake up the whole world. We won Georgia easily. We won it by hundreds of thousands of votes. But if you go by basic simple numbers, we won it easily, easily. So we're not giving Dominion a pass on the record. We just, we don't need Dominion, because we have so many other votes that we don't need to prove it any more than we already have.

This is the excerpt that interests me. What is Trump referring to here. Failed legal challenges? Just complete bullshit? Anyone have a clue?

It is a shadowy company owned by right wing operatives. Notice how Susan Collins fell into line. She was probably told that if she played along she’d win re election.

Yes there should be a commission to investigate ES&S voting machines irregularities and find out who owns the company!

Montana. Today Gianforte was sworn in and I got a fat envelope in the mail today with all kinds of Right to Work propaganda. Looks like Montana isn't going to be a good state to live in anymore. Wages sucked as it was, now it will be worse. I don;t think he got into his seat legitimately along with a straight R sweep across the board in a purple state. Doesn't add up but I don't know where to look for evidence if there's going to be some.

The other states need more votes, tens and tens of thousands, and that would require more severe measures for tRump to overturn them.

Plus, tRump may have known the call would be recorded, may have been recording it himself. Hence "don't want to get into it".

An alternative idea is that there is nothing, no other "way" in other states. tRump may have been trying to psyche Raffensburger out by pretending he has a weapon even more fearful than the "risks" he threatened him with.

That's how I'm reading it. Think Kentucky and McConnel. They "Found a way" in "other states" to get A LOT of votes (shake up the whole world). He doesn't need that (from Dominion) in GA because he only needs 11k.

14. Foley & Lardner To Feel Wrath Of The Lincoln Project

The Lincoln Project got Jones Day to drop trump as a client. This will be fun to watch

Free advice for all Biglaw firms: you will be held accountable in the court of public opinion for the work you and your partners do. That’s a lesson Jones Day is well acquainted with. As is Porter Wright. And King & Spalding. And Hogan Lovells. You get the point. So if a partner at your firm plays a prominent role in one of the most shocking phone calls in American history, well, you’ve got some ‘splaining to do.

Of course I’m talking about Foley & Lardner partner Cleta Mitchell’s participation in Donald Trump’s harassing of Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to just “find 11,780 votes.” It seems that the never-Trump PAC The Lincoln Project has turned their attention to Biglaw over the incident.

There are already murmurs of Foley losing business over Mitchell’s involvement in the debacle, and tweets like these from The Lincoln Project only ups the pressure.

And they aren’t the only PAC paying attention to Biglaw. MeidasTouch — remember they are the ones that actually drew first blood in the campaign against Jones Day — has turned their attention to Foley & Lardner. One the the PAC’s founders, Ben Meiselas, partner at Geragos & Geragos, has been very vocal about the firm’s involvement, specifically when Foley attorney Jason Villalba tweeted (though he’s since deleted it) about the now infamous phone call without condemning Mitchell’s involvement.

To me he is saying there is a way to remain President despite the vote but since he just needs "11,000 votes" he doesn't want to go down that path. What ever his method is, it would "shake up the whole world."

The other interesting thing that happened was the op-ed by the living secretaries of defense that stated there was no role for the military in resolving controversies concerning the election.

And, most forcefully, they said that any civilian and military officials who directed the use of the military to interfere in the electoral process would be held accountable, “including potentially facing criminal penalties, for the grave consequences of their actions on our republic.”

It's as if they are expecting some one to do exactly that. They must be hearing rumors of such things.

Some of the idiots want to go down the whole "machines changing votes" hole, which would mean tens of millions of votes in many States. That affects hundreds of elections because he would have to argue ALL the machines are rigged. He further stated "I know they are corrupt" in that exchange, referring to Dominion. There would be no way to claim "Dominion changed votes for Biden in 'this State' or I would have won" without having to claim votes were changed in other States, including ones he is not "disputing".

IOW, he is full of it and knows it.

... Mitchell was a little taken aback by all of the bullshit spewing from Тяцмр‘s facial anus during the call. Lawyers are fine with spinning facts, but some actually do resist making them up from whole cloth.

Still needs to be held accountable for her participation, but I suspect she’s on her way out.

When she was asking for the voter data and Trump interrupts and says "we don't need that". I saw it as a clear admission by Trump that he knows "his" data is bogus and that what the SOS has is correct, and if it was all given to them, they couldn't continue to make those claims about dead people and non-residents voting. He then continued about "just need 11,000....." because, well, he knows its all a bunch of bullshit. It was just as con man schtick on steroids.

You tell us that you had an investigation at the State Farm Arena. I don’t have any report. I’ve never seen a report of investigation. I don’t know that is.
