I believe this Trump temper tantrum will result in a massive unseating of Republicans in both houses in 2022, and a dismantling of the party into Trump deplorables, regular Republicans and those who are peeling off into the Lincoln Project independents. It's hard to say, but I think Pennsylvania Senator Pat Toomey, Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse and perhaps Maine Senator Susan Collins will at least vote to approve Biden's cabinet nominees if the Dems don't win in Georgia. Maybe Romney is part of that group. I wouldn't expect full cooperation, but enough to at least give McConnell the idea that he doesnt have absolute control.
