Let any 1/6 protestors use up their oxygen and leave

That's what happened in Portland a few months ago when no one but the right-wing and the cops showed up and what was supposed to be a 3-hour 'rally' broke up after an hour. With no one to fight, they found they had nothing to say.

thereby giving the alts someone to fight--maybe I didn't make that clear. A protest unopposed, if it turns violent, is. as you say, something for the police to handle. Looks like they're ready.
