(2,751 posts)IF Ossoff and Warnock pull this off, how does this change the game?
Does Harris have a play in this if they don't?
Edit: Seems to me he can just keep pulling the same fucking thing he always does. And we all know that is absolutely nothing.

(63,923 posts)a heavy dose of karma. So hopefully it will be Georgia and not Kentucky ending Mitch's reign of terror. Sweet.
Let it come true.

(21,617 posts)want to be a downer, but I am anxious about the Atlanta area votes because I read at Politico that there are 10s of thousands of mail in ballots in Atlanta that were delayed by the USPS and might miss getting counted. I hope they are wrong and that this is just Politico negativism, but I am bracing myself.
If it's true, I hope there is some recourse.
But maybe there are enough votes in spite of that to carry Ossoff and Warnock over the top.

(18,641 posts)Republicans are willing to do anything to win while Democrats are only willing to play by the rules.
A distinct disadvantage for Democrats.
And there are too many of the public who have been brainwashed by Trump and are unable to discern reality from real fake news.
If Mitch keeps control he will do everything in his power to keep the virus active because he knows it will only reflect badly on Biden.

(42,770 posts)be ahead tonight and to not be discouraged. But John King saying #s outstanding not enough ...
Oh well.
Jon King
(1,910 posts)Sadly, not enough outstanding to change it. Never underestimate the power of Repub working class to constantly vote to harm themselves and the kids and their grand kids. Simply amazing how self destructive most Republican voters are. Perhaps in 2022 we have a shot.

(1,910 posts)There are 171000 outstanding and not 117000. So at least Warnock has a good chance.
