voting for perdue but not loeffler. she is not from Georgia, just parachuted in and of course she is a woman.

incumbent. She's also slightly more obnoxious than Perdue, so that could be figuring in. And Warnock could be more popular with black/brown groups than Ossoff. Probably a combination of everything, but it's a remarkably consistent difference all night.

Ossof and Warner SHOULD have the same exact vote totals with the possible exception of some republicans voting for one or the other but not both.

she talked to said they liked 1 of the Rs and 1 of the Ds, but most had decided they had to vote for both of the same party what with the Senate and all. Although a split would keep the Rs in control at 51-49 so perhaps some voters decided to split their ticket.

Purdue is from an old Georgia family, whereas Loeffler is not. Plus she's a woman, and Purdue looks like a senator from Central Casting. So I think Osoff has a slightly steeper hill to climb than Warnock does.
