Born in Atlanta, Georgia, to a Jewish family, Ossoff was raised in Northlake, an unincorporated community.[10] He attended the Paideia School, an independent school in Atlanta.[11] While in high school, he interned for civil rights leader and U.S. Representative John Lewis.[11]
In 2009, Ossoff graduated from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service with a Bachelor of Science degree.
Warnock is from Savannah, Georgia. He grew up in public housing as the eleventh of twelve children born to Verlene and Jonathan Warnock, both Pentecostal pastors.[1] His father served in the U.S. Army during World War II, where he learned automobile mechanics and welding, and subsequently opened a small car restoration business where he restored junked cars for resale.[2]
