may have cost him his Leadership. Good - we'll take that $600.00 PLUS what the Democrats come through with for us.

Democrats ran with the $2,000 checks and Warnock/Ossoff leaned on it heavily in the last days.

I wouldn't be surprised if the promise of passing that bit of legislation didn't boost democratic turnout today and push us over the top there.

just a little bit of incumbency advantage that Purdue has from actually having won an election before rather than being appointed.

The last payments were 8 months ago and my bank account on record, like others, was closed! They should still get me a check.

I am sure Biden with a Dem Senate will get everything right in any next payment.

Seems like they want to push people to file taxes early and get the credit rather than having to issue checks. I plan to delay filing my taxes so we'll see how soon the check arrives.

Bank made a huge error and refused to correct it. Naturally I didn’t even want to remain at Citizens Bank.

Because he knows the party is going to die after he is long gone. He knows it's over. He knows, and there's no real disputing it, he was the Iron King of the Senate for 12 years. Historians will look at him as an evil man, but a strong arm. And that's all he fucking cares about.

catastrophic outcomes which he WANTS to happen to as many Americans as possible to hurt Democrats as the "in office at that moment" party.

He's taking solace in the fact that he's got a clear and obvious angle to play and has positioned things to affect a useful short-term outcome in that direction -- economic devastation across all of American society apart from the uber-wealthy.

That $600 was useful in that it was so fucking small and ineffective... He does not care about the debt or deficit or spending. That spending was good in his mind insofar as it prevented a better bill/spending from being proposed/debated/adopted which would have caused better outcomes, less suffering, for the American people.

Everything would have been different had they simply convicted that psychotic and put Pence in there.

As "clever" as he's touted to be, I'll never understand why they didn't take the opportunity when it was served to them on a silver platter.
