I LOVE Breyer but we can't take the risk due to his age. He should agree to retire as long as the Senate approves his replacement.

of losing another Justice seat. Who knows if we will keep the house or the senate in the next mid term.

It just would have to happen before the next Senate is installed in January 2023, when the makeup of the Senate becomes uncertain. Republicans no longer have the power to deny Senate hearings to a SC nominee.

He's been a very strong Associate Justice and leaves behind a legacy of thoughtful jurisprudence and lasting influence. It's now time for him to retire.
