The House Sergeant of Arms

He is resigned, obviously because of dereliction of duty. I'd love to know what he was thinking - why he chose to basically stand down.

He was appointed by John Boehner. He could have been replaced by Nancy Pelosi

At least they are getting to crux of why the Capitol Police didn't treat Wednesday as a terrorist threat.
