Uggh. I can't get comfortable and literally crawled upstairs to try to find some long-expired muscle relaxants and a heating pad.

All from the mental anguish of the past two days, I'd bet.

Yesterday's events were horrific. Those terrorists INSIDE the Capital were unacceptable. I am, however, just as disturbed, if not more so, by the lack of policing AND the lack of arrest that have been made so far.

It's 3 pm Eastern time while I type this and less than 65 people have been arrested for their participation in the malicious attempted take-over of our government. And, afaik, NONE of the ringleaders, or the main culprits have been detained or arrested. Instead, they were allowed to waltz out of there heads held high, laughing and cavorting with their antics.

Am I disturbed? More so than I have been in a long, long time. And still, the Main Ringleader is in the WH with the nuclear football at his disposal, and all his powers. Yes, I am sick today.

Yesterday finished driving an irreparable wedge between the conventional republicans and the Trump zealots.

Republicans will have to move center to make up for the votes they won't be able to get anymore from the lunatic fringe.

Whoever rigged the building security to be completely inadequate did us a huge favor, as traumatic as it was to watch.

Nothing clears the head like pushing some iron. I mentioned it to a co-worker and he was going to do the same. Vigorous exercise can help with the rage we feel. Otherwise it can be directed inwardly, which is not good; it can make you physically ill.

But I also have a fairly cheap pull-up bar that hangs without screws on the door jam and I do pushups on the carpet. It's actually pretty easy to put together a good workout with hardly any equipment. I've worked out more since the pandemic because I got tired of looking at screens all day between work and entertainment. And it helps with the anxiety about, well, everything.

He doesn't drive and lives with my sister, spending most of his time in his room since COVID. When I bought him the exercycle, everyone thought I was nuts, that he wouldn't use it. He uses it every day and loves it. It's been a real blessing for him the past year.

I can't seem to calm down. I'm not even caffeinated, yet I feel like I have had about 5 cups of coffee. And I don't even drink coffee anymore. I hate this feeling. I feel racy and nervous. Part of it is that I have not slept well all week.

I just want him gone. I don't think I will really be at peace until he is.

Like a PTSD flare-up. I had to rest today as I did not sleep well last night It's like we all witnessed a trauma that has made me feel less safe. I can't wait till Biden is in charge. No one is in charge right now and a mad man could violate us/our country, again.

finding the agents and executors of these events. It keeps me sane because I refuse to feel weak about it, because that's how one dies.

Very sorry you felt that way, and I'd make some lame joke about your living up to your name.
But I won't. Because I understand. I just deal with these "events" differently.

And he's not done. My rage has been strong since 1980, but increased after 2000. It has cost me, and scares me at times. And I am not happy about that either. I sometimes wish I could ignore all the injustice, racism, corruption, destruction. Those that can are more at peace. But I can't.

for solutions. I doubt I'll ever be in peace. Like that of our opponents, my tension is what holds me together.

Unlike my opponents, I love good trouble. I support those who make it.

Then I also realize my age, realize my capacities might be diminishing, and then think, NAH. F THAT.

You picked your name for a reason. I love your name. And I'm proud of you for not being able to ignore the bad trouble.

Every now and then we just need somewhere to grieve. I see that around here and it's a good thing.

Looks like loads of lumpen, idiots, criminals and clowns. Watch the video with Elizabeth who was crying while saying we were storming the capitol; this is a revolution. I got 'maced'. Watch the fools giving up their identities to gloat while saying it wasn't them. Which revolutionary invades Congress to steal computers, podiums and smoke weed?

They didn't even realize he did accompany them as promised.
