House Democrats just scheduled a caucus call for noon tomorrow. Expect 🎇 on the subject of impeachment/25th.

(During her presser today, Pelosi said she expects Pence to make a decision on invoking the 25th soon, but didn't spell out a timeline for action if he does not.)

tells me Trump isn't going anywhere. Republicans should do the country a favor and remove Trump on their own. Don't count on it.

Does it have to be completed before January 20th, his last day in office?

Does the Constitution forbid the trial from continuing after January 20th?

One important point: McConnell is no longer in charge of the Senate.

the process could continue after. However, I’m not sure it’s codified.

My understanding is that McConnell is in charge of the Senate until Wornock and Ossoff are seated.

Straight up or down on the articles, with 1 hour of debate time. Be on McConnel/Schumers desk and then it's all in the hands of the GOP where they can once again defend him. They could have a one day trial.
