If he had been there they probably could NOT go into the building - thus NO disruption.

If you've watched lately, Trump needs help getting up steps, into the helecopter, coming off the gangway of Air Force one. There are fewer and fewer photographs of his fat butt and belly walking around. Hes always got someone with him on the golf course.

But, since the justice department is responsible for the security of the federal buildings, he knew they weren't covering the capitol and he knew if he went, the secret service, trained to do their job, would have stopped any illegal entry into the building.

If the secret service is there, face-identification photography would have given them a comprehensive list of everyone whose face appeared on a camera. The FBI has most of that now anyway and I can't wait until they start hauling in some of the QAnon morons who looked like barbarians off the steppes in the capitol. There were several thousand people there, but far fewer teeth than there would be in a normal crowd that size and it looked like most of them hadn't had a bath in a month.

They’re planning on an armed conflict and figure they will have more weapons than any army or so was their boast.

The last time they had a second amendment gathering planned for DC it had to be moved to Virginia because of gun restrictions. They expected thousands ! About a dozen showed up, and wandered aimlessly with their long guns draped over their bodies. Pathetic losers.
