Those people that violently forced their way into our Capitol building were no different than those Manson followers that forced their way into those homes and killed those inside. They said they were just doing what Charlie wanted. Charlie wasn't with them. But he was guilty. He spent the rest of his life in prison.
That person that incited and inspired those folks wasn't with them when they desecrated our Capitol building and killed a police officer, but he was just as guilty as Charlie Manson. He should spend the rest of his days in prison.

(22,921 posts)However I will note that I don't believe that everyone who streamed through smashed open doors into the Capital would have willfully participated in, or even necessarily condone, the physical slaughter of those inside. But some of them no doubt would have.
