As far as I am concerned, anyone who voted for Trump in 2020,

bears partial responsibility for the attack on the US Capital and for anyone one killed or harmed there.

I know our votes are private and so they cannot be named, but over 75 million Americans took part in all that horror.

1. I agree 100%. Those who voted for him in 2016 are also responsible.

This is who he has always been.
The actions he has conducted in the past 4 years are worse than I even imagined.
I knew it would be bad, but damn.
People were ok with him causing him as long as he didn't harm them.
Too damn late.

This is needed, they don't care. Watched a couple interviews the WP did the day after at the capital with trump supporters, they said they will be back and won't quit fighting.

I'm afraid the republican party has indeed created and legitimized these people's views and we will have a bunch of timothy McVeigh's for decades to come.

I'm disgusted.

5. The Brainwashing Is So Thorough, They Actually Believe They're "Freedom Fighters"

I was hoping that once Trump was exposed for what he was, summarily voted out of office, and then hopefully imprisoned, that all these MAGAmorons would be forced to admit that they had been duped. But I'm starting to believe that they never will. The stuff I'm seeing on social media tells me that they live in an alternate reality where everything Trump says is gospel and everyone else is lying to them. In their world, Trump REALLY DID win (by a lot), and it's a giant conspiracy to stop all the great work he's doing, and literally everyone is in on it. They believe the Democrats stole the election and that all the actions they've taken recently makes them great patriots, fighting for the good of this country.

Of course, it doesn't help when you've got morons like Limbaugh going on the air and essentially saying the Trump mob is akin to the American revolutionaries. I weep for this country and what Donald Trump has done to it. He did all of this for ONE reason: to make more money for himself and increase the value of his "brand." That's IT. And the fact that none of his drooling followers can see that is doubly dangerous.

As I've been saying for a long time now, this is exactly why he NEEDS to go to prison, along with all the enablers who committed crimes to help him along the way. There can be no healing in this country until Donald Trump is in prison and made to account for his crimes.

have repugs as friends. I’m in the shun and shame camp understanding how painful it is to do this to, in some cases, life long friends.
